We offer many volunteer opportunities that can bring out the creative side of you. This section explores those opportunities and provides information on how to become a PPCT member. It also introduces some of our esteemed members who worked diligently and selflessly to get PPCT where we are today.

Pelican Players In Memoriam

The red rose is for remembrance of those who have given so much.

Linda Halperin's focus while being President of PPCT was to increase quality of productions, streamline scholarship protocol and expand our reach. Her tenacity and energy led the way to our partnership with the Community Foundation Tampa Bay.

Roger “Rog” Potratz, 76, of Sun City Center, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Sun City Senior Living Center. Born July 16, 1946, in Memphis, TN, and raised in Minneapolis, MN, he was the son of the late Don Potratz and Shirley (Damon) Rosen. Rog proudly served in the US Navy as a jet airplane mechanic. After his enlistment, he continued his love of flying as a corporate pilot. Rog enjoyed airplanes, fishing, golfing, woodworking, and watching all the professional sports teams.
